The end of the Year

Published by clintinvestment at 10:42 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

2008 will be over before I can finish writing this. It has been a year of change, a year of courage, and a year of pitfalls. Who knew Earth could be so complicated.

Courage is a relevant term but who can deny the impact that the 2008 presidential election had on not just the United States but the entire world. The idea that the underdog does come in first sometimes. The dream of one man encouraged by millions.

The housing market and stock market hit lows resembling the Great Depression. Who would have thought that real estate agents across America would put in applications for McDonald’s by the end of the year. People lost jobs that they had held for almost thirty years. The working class, otherwise known as the middle class is now eligible for food stamps. Who could have guessed?

Now, we sit at the end of the year and anticipate the blessings of 2009.
